Evaluation 3 - What have you learned from your audience feedback?
1. What did you think about our music video?
2. Do you think that our main performer played and looked the part well?
3. What was your favourite part?
4. Do you think the video followed the conventions of a real acoustic/rock video?
5. Would you watch the video again?
6. Could you follow the storyline?
7. What did yout hink about the setting of thevideo?
8. Do you think the lip syncing went well?
9. Do you feel like you can relate to the video and its issues involved?
10. Some up the video in one word
After asking 50 volunteers the questionaire above, i analysed my findings and found out that most that viewed the video liked it because it was different compared to the stereotypical music videos that they usually watch. I found out that the majority was impressed by our main performer and thought that he looked the part and performed the lip syncing generally well. All but one of the volunteers believed that our video did not follow the conventions of a real acoustic/rock video which was generally our aim. I learnt that the favourite part of the video was the train station shoot as some describe it as "almost professional". I was intreuged to find that most felt like they could relate to the issues within our music video which was a sucess for us as we wanted our target audience to feel like they could relate to it. The only negative that i found was that most found the storyline hard to follow which is understandable because we had a bit of trouble ourselves with trying to bring our storyline out. But we have reflexed on this and i learnt that i should keepmy ideas more simplistic and not try to over complicate things. Our video was described as "impressive" , "interesting", "funny" and "Slightly confusing". A mixed feedback back but generally pleased with my findings.
